Alistair McCulloch is one of the most sought after fiddlers in Scotland today, both as performer and teacher. His versatility and breadth of repertoire have kept him at the forefront of the tradition for over 15 years. Six months in the making, Alistair's long awaited third album 'Four Seasons In One Day' was released in August 2009. The beautifully textured recording captures Alistair's playing at its best, with renewed freshness combined with supreme musicianship.

Scottish Tour 2011
The Alistair McCulloch Trio returns this summer with an exciting 10 date Scottish Tour. This is the 11th year of touring for the renowned folk group featuring Alistair, whistle wizard and former Capercaillie member Marc Duff, and 2005 “Instrumentalist of the Year” and Old Blind Dogs member Aaron Jones. The tour commneces on 27th July in Ullapool and takes in Edderton and Portmahomack before returning to Aros in Portree. 1st Aug sees the group heading to the Western Isles for concerts in Tarbert, Harris and Lochmaddy, North Uist. The highland dates are completed in Brora and Aviemore before heading south for performances in Ayr and Peebles. From driving traditional tunes and modern day compositions, to the emotive tones of Alistair's self penned airs and the lyrical songs of Aaron Jones, this is a collaboration not to be missed!

USA Tour 2011
Ayrshire Fiddle Orchestra - Alistair is delighted to be Musical Director for the forthcoming Ayrshire Fiddle Orchestra tour of the USA. The tour commences on 30th June 2011 and takes in New York, Ohio, Georgia and Florida. Should be a great tour!

Kazakhstan
Coila have been invited to back perform in Almaty, Kazakhstan for the annual Burns Supper. Last year's event raised $75,000 for charity

Newly commissioned work
Alistair was honoured to be soloist for a newly commission work by irish composer Kevin O’Connell. The piece ‘I Know Where I am Going’, a fantasia for string orchestra, was premiered in the Grand Hall, Kilmarnock, spring 2011

New Iain Cathcart Dance Band CD
Alistair was fiddler on the second release by the Iain Cathcart Scottish Dance Band 'Truly Scrumptious'. The album will be released during the Autumn 2011
